The contacts specified by this document are applicable for connector classes specified in EN 2997 series. This document specifies two contact types (M and H) depending on connector class.

ČSN EN IEC 63522-45 This part of IEC 63522 is used for testing electromechanical elementary relays (electromechanical relays, reed relays, reed contacts, reed switches and technology combination of these) and evaluates their ability to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. This test defines a standard test method for maximum frequency of operation to ensure the mechanical, electrical durability and contact failure rate test of electromechanical elementary relays.

ČSN EN IEC 61554 This document defines a system of dimensions for panel mounting of equipment. It is applicable to electrical and electrically operated indicating, recording and control instruments. It applies to the following types of instruments with protruding bezels: - instruments with square housing; - instruments with rectangular housing with lateral orientation; - instruments with rectangular housing with upright orientation; - instruments with round housing and square bezel; - instruments with round housing and rectangular bezel. The purpose of this document is to establish dimensional interchangeability between instruments made by different manufacturers. To fulfil this requirement, a defined set of dimensions has been chosen. Using these dimensions, it will be easier to combine instruments of different sizes on the same panel making good use of the available panel space and to produce a satisfactory layout.
