    ČSN EN 12309-3 Appliances covered by this document include one or a combination of the following: - gas-fired sorption chiller; - gas-fired sorption chiller/heater; - gas-fired sorption heat pump; - hybrids based on gas sorption appliances. This document applies to appliances designed to be used for space heating or cooling or refrigeration with or without heat recovery. This document applies to appliances having flue gas systems of Type B and Type C (according to EN 1749:2020) and to appliances designed for outdoor installations, including Type A. EN 12309 does not apply to air conditioners, it only applies to appliances having: - integral burners under the control of fully automatic burner control systems; - closed system refrigerant circuits in which the refrigerant does not come into direct contact with the water or air to be cooled or heated; - mechanical means to assist transportation of the combustion air and/or the flue gas. The above appliances can have one or more primary or secondary functions (i.e. heat recovery - see definitions in EN 12309-1:2023). In the case of packaged units (consisting of several parts), this document applies only to those designed and supplied as a complete package. The appliances having their condenser cooled by air and by the evaporation of external additional water are not covered by EN 12309. Installations used for heating and/or cooling of industrial processes are not within the scope of EN 12309. All the symbols given in this text are to be used regardless of the language used. This part of EN 12309 specifies the requirements, test methods and conditions for gas-fired sorption appliances for heating and/or cooling with a net heat input not exceeding 70 kW. This part of EN 12309 deals particularly with test protocols and tools to calculate the capacity, the gas utilization efficiency and the electrical power input of the appliance. This data can be used in particular to calculate the seasonal efficiency of the appliance.

This document describes an Operational Mode Risk Assessment (OMRA), which uses methods such as Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP), Failure Mode and Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), or Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) or a combination of these methods. The document specifies requirements: - for the validation of possible safety concepts and protective devices within the OMRA process, including charge release tests, simulation, and function tests of the associated protective equipment; - for tests related to the application; - using methodologies to achieve tolerable risk values. Mobile air conditioning systems in cars are covered in ISO 13043 and refrigerated containers conforming to ISO 20854 are excluded. This document could be used for class "B" refrigerants providing the OMRA is adjusted to account for their specific properties.

    ČSN EN 14382+A1 (38 6450) This document specifies constructional, functional, testing marking and sizing requirements and documentation of gas safety shut-off devices: - for inlet pressures up to 100 bar and nominal diameters up to DN 400; - for an operating temperature range from -20 °C to +60 °C; which operate with fuel gases of the 1st and 2nd family as defined in EN 437, used in the pressure regulating stations in accordance with EN 12186 or EN 12279, in transmission and distribution networks and also in commercial and industrial installations. "Gas safety shut-off devices" will hereafter be called "SSDs" except in titles. For standard safety shut-off devices when used in pressure regulating stations complying with EN 12186 or EN 12279, Annex ZA lists all applicable Essential Safety Requirements of Directive 2014/68/EU (PED). This document considers the following temperature classes/types of SSDs: - temperature class 1: operating temperature range from -10 °C to 60 °C; - temperature class 2: operating temperature range from -20 °C to 60 °C; - functional class A: SSDs that close when damage to the pressure detecting element occurs or when external power fails and whose re-opening, is possible only manually; - functional class B: SSDs that do not close when damage to the pressure detecting element occurs but provide suitable and reliable protection and whose re-opening, is possible only manually; - type IS: (integral strength type); - type DS: (differential strength type). SSDs complying with the requirements of this document may be declared as "in conformity with EN 14382" and bear the mark "EN 14382". The material and functional requirements specified in this document may be applied to SSDs which use thermal energy or the effects of electrical energy to trip the operation of the closing member. For these SSDs the operational parameters are not specified in this document. The SSD may incorporate a vent limiter, complying with the requirements in Annex J. This standard for some paragraphs and sub clauses makes full reference to EN 334:2019. This document does not apply to: - SSDs upstream from/on/in domestic gas-consuming appliances which are installed downstream of domestic gas meters; - SSDs designed to be incorporated into pressure-regulating devices used in service lines with volumetric flow rate

    ČSN EN 1991-1-2 The methods given in this Eurocode are applicable to buildings and civil engineering works, with a fire load related to the building and its occupancy. EN 1991-1-2 deals with thermal and mechanical actions on structures exposed to fire. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the fire design Parts of EN 1992 to EN 1996 and EN 1999 which give rules for designing structures for fire resistance. EN 1991-1-2 contains thermal actions either nominal or physically based. More data and models for physically based thermal actions are given in annexes. EN 1991-1-2 does not cover the assessment of the damage of a structure after a fire. EN 1991-1-2 does not cover supplementary requirements concerning, for example: - the possible installation and maintenance of sprinkler systems; - conditions on occupancy of building or fire compartment; - the use of approved insulation and coating materials, including their maintenance. In addition to the general assumptions of EN 1990 the following assumptions apply: - the choice of the relevant design fire scenario is made by appropriate qualified and experienced personnel, or is given by the relevant national regulation; - any fire protection measure taken into account in the design will be adequately maintained.
