ČSN EN ISO 8044 Norma definuje termíny vztahující se ke korozi, které se široce užívají v moderní vědě a technice. Navíc jsou některé definice doplněny stručnými vysvětlivkami. Termíny a definice týkající se povrchových úprav kovů anorganickými povlaky jsou uvedeny v ČSN EN ISO 2080. Další termíny a definice lze najít např. ČSN EN ISO 4618 (pro obor nátěrových hmot a nátěrů), ČSN EN ISO 19496-1 (pro obor smaltů) a v příslušných speciálních technických normách. Norma obsahuje termíny v češtině a angličtině a definice a rejstřík v češtině. Součástí normy je i anglický originál.

ČSN EN 1083-1 Tento dokument stanovuje termíny, které se používají k popisu poháněných rotačních kartáčů a páskových kartáčů a popisuje systém jejich označování. Tento dokument se nevztahuje na kartáče pro myčky aut, vysavače, stroje na čištění koberců, stroje na čištění kanalizace a ulic, zubní kartáčky, kartáče pro těsnění a odstraňování nečistot.

ČSN EN 415-8 This document is applicable to the following groups of machines: - powered hand strapping tools; - semi-automatic strapping machines; - automatic strapping machines. This document does not apply to: - strapping tools, where the strap tension is only applied by manual effort; - machines, intended for use with paper strap; - hand-held motor-operated electric strapping tools. NOTE - For hand-held motor-operated electric strapping tools see EN 60745 2 18:2009 and EN 62841 1:2015. This document deals with safety requirements for machine design, transport, installation, commissioning, operation, adjustment, maintenance and cleaning. The extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered is indicated in Annex A. This document does not consider the following hazards: - the use of strapping machines in potentially explosive atmosphere; - the health, safety or hygiene hazards associated with the products that may be handled by the machines, but does include general advice on this subject; - hazards that are associated with decommissioning strapping machines. Hazards associated with decommissioning of strapping machines are not considered and therefore excluded but are generally part of the instruction manual (see Clause 6), together with suited measures, if necessary.

ČSN EN 12259-15 (38 9210) This document specifies requirements and test methods for spray pattern sprinklers with a k-factor of at least K160, extended coverage (EC) sprinklers of at least K80, extended coverage storage sprinklers of at least K200 and control mode special application (CMSA) sprinklers. This document only covers sprinkler types up to K360. This document does not apply to concealed, conventional, flat spray, flush and recessed sprinklers.

ČSN EN ISO 12460-2 This document specifies a procedure for a chamber test with different options of chamber sizes to measure the formaldehyde concentrations in air from wood products under defined test conditions of temperature, relative humidity, loading and air exchange rate. Results obtained from this small-scale chamber test method can be used for quality control (factory production control - 'FPC') based on correlation established by reference chamber test methods according to ISO, EN or ASTM standards. The establishment of a correlation is described in Annex D.

ČSN EN 1459-1 This document specifies the safety requirements of self-propelled rough-terrain variable-reach trucks (hereafter referred to as trucks), intended to handle loads, equipped with a telescopic lifting means (pivoted boom), on which a load handling device (e.g. carriage and fork arms) is fitted. For the purpose of this document, rough-terrain variable-reach trucks are designed to transport, lift and place loads and can be driven on unimproved terrain. Fork arms are considered to be part of the truck. Trucks can also be equipped with a variety of attachments (e.g. bale spikes, mowers, sweepers). This document deals with all the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to the trucks when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Annex A). This document does not apply to: - slewing rough-terrain variable-reach trucks covered by EN 1459-2:2015+A1:2018; - rough-terrain variable-reach tractors covered by CEN/TS 1459-8; - industrial variable reach trucks covered by EN ISO 3691-2:2023; - lorry-mounted variable-reach trucks covered by ISO 20297-1:2017; - variable-reach trucks fitted with tilting or elevating operator position; - mobile cranes covered by EN 13000:2010+A1:2014; - machines designed primarily for earth moving, even if their buckets and blades are replaced with forks (see EN 474 series); - trucks designed primarily with variable length load suspension elements (e.g. chain, ropes) from which the load may swing freely in all directions; - trucks designed primarily for container handling; - trucks on tracks; - trucks with articulated chassis; - attachments. Determination and declaration of sound power level is not addressed by this document. This document does not cover sales literature. This document does not address hazards linked to: peration of the truck from a position other than the normal operating position or the remote control; - hybrid power systems; - gas power systems; - gasoline engine systems; battery power systems. This document does not address hazards which may occur: a) when handling suspended loads which may swing freely (additional requirements are given in EN 1459-4:2020+A1:2025); b) when using trucks on public roads; c) when operating in potentially explosive atmospheres (additional requirements are given in EN 1755:2024); d) when operating underground; e) when towing trailers; f) when fitted with a personnel work platform (additional requirements are given in EN 1459-3:2015 and EN 1459-9:2021); g) when using system capable of controlling the speed of the truck as set by the operator (cruise-control). This document does not provide a method of calculation for fatigue and strength of material. This document is not applicable to trucks manufactured before the date of its publication.

ČSN EN 81-43 1.1 This document specifies the safety requirements for the construction and installation of power operated lifts attached to cranes and intended for access to workplaces on cranes. The lift serves defined landing levels and has a car which is: a) designed for the transportation of persons and goods; b) guided; c) travelling vertically or along a path within 15 degrees maximum from the vertical; d) supported by rack and pinion or suspended by steel wire ropes; e) travelling with a speed not more than 1,0 m/s for permanent installed lifts and not more than 0,4 m/s for temporarily installed lifts. 1.2 This document identifies hazards as listed in Annex A that arise during the various phases in the life of such equipment and describes methods for the elimination or reduction of these hazards when used as intended by the manufacturer. This document deals with significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to lifts for cranes, when it is used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer. This document specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards (see Annex A). 1.3 This document does not specify requirements for: a) noise; b) lightning; c) potentially explosive atmospheres; NOTE - Directive 2014/34/EU concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres can be applicable to the type of machine or equipment covered by this document. The present standard is not intended to provide means of complying with the essential health and safety requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU. d) electromagnetic compatibility (emission, immunity); e) handling of loads the nature of which could lead to dangerous situations (e.g. molten metal, acids/bases, radiating materials, fragile loads); f) the use of combustion engines; g) hydraulic drive units. 1.4 This document is not applicable to: a) builders hoists according to EN 12158 1:2021, EN 12158 2:2000+A1:2010 and EN 12159:2024 and transport platforms according to EN 16719:2018; b) elevating control stations according to EN 14502 2:2005+A1:2008; c) lifts according to EN 81 20:2020. 1.5 This document deals with the complete lift design but excludes the design of the crane. It includes the base frame and base enclosure of the lift but excludes the design of any concrete, hard core, timber or other foundation arrangement. It includes the design of mast ties and the design of anchorage parts between the mast tie and the crane structure. This document also includes the design of the landing gates and their fixings. 1.6 This document does not apply to lifts for cranes manufactured before the date of publication of this document by CEN.

ČSN ISO 16363 Hlavním účelem tohoto dokumentu je stanovit doporučený postup CCSDS, na němž má být založen proces auditu a certifikace sloužící k posouzení důvěryhodnosti digitálních úložišť. Tento dokument může být použit pro všechny typy digitálních úložišť. Tento dokument je určen především těm, kteří nesou odpovědnost za provádění auditů digitálních úložišť, a také těm, kteří se věnují digitálním úložištím nebo za ně nesou odpovědnost a usilují o objektivní měření důvěryhodnosti svého úložiště. Některé instituce mohou tyto ukazatele použít i při návrhu nebo úpravách vlastního digitálního úložiště.

ČSN EN ISO 19116 This document specifies the data structure and content of an interface that permits communication between position-providing device(s) and position-using device(s) enabling the position-using device(s) to obtain and unambiguously interpret position information and determine, based on a measure of the degree of reliability, whether the resulting position information meets the requirements of the intended use. A standardized interface for positioning allows the integration of reliable position information obtained from non-specific positioning technologies and is useful in various location-focused information applications, such as surveying, navigation, intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and location-based services (LBS).
