ČSN EN ISO 6980-2 This document specifies methods for the measurement of the absorbed-dose rate in a tissue-equivalent slab phantom in the ISO 6980 reference beta-particle radiation fields. The energy range of the beta-particle-emitting isotopes covered by these reference radiations is 0,22 MeV to 3,6 MeV maximum beta energy corresponding to 0,07 MeV to 1,2 MeV mean beta energy. Radiation energies outside this range are beyond the scope of this document. While measurements in a reference geometry (depth of 0,07 mm or 3 mm at perpendicular incidence in a tissue equivalent slab phantom) with an extrapolation chamber used as primary standard are dealt with in detail, the use of other measurement systems and measurements in other geometries are also described, although in less detail. However, as noted in ICRU 56, the ambient dose equivalent, H*(10), used for area monitoring, and the personal dose equivalent, Hp(10), as used for individual monitoring, of strongly penetrating radiation, are not appropriate quantities for any beta radiation, even that which penetrates 10 mm of tissue (Emax > 2 MeV). This document is intended for those organizations wishing to establish primary dosimetry capabilities for beta particles and serves as a guide to the performance of dosimetry with an extrapolation chamber used as primary standard for beta particle dosimetry in other fields. Guidance is also provided on the statement of measurement uncertainties.

ČSN EN ISO 23548 This document describes a generic test method for measuring alpha emitting radionuclides, for all types of samples (soil, sediment, construction material, foodstuff, water, airborne, environmental bio-indicator, human biological samples as urine, faeces etc.) by alpha spectrometry. This method can be used for any type of environmental study or monitoring of alpha emitting radionuclides activities. If relevant, this test method requires appropriate sample pre-treatment followed by specific chemical separation of the test portion in order to obtain a thin source proper to alpha spectrometry measurement. This test method can be used to determine the activity, specific activity or activity concentration of a sample containing alpha emitting radionuclides such as 210Po, 226Ra, 228Th, 229Th, 230Th, 232Th, 232U,234U, 235U, 238U, 238Pu, 239+240Pu, 241Am or 243+244Cm. This test method can be used to measure very low levels of activity, one or two orders of magnitude less than the usual natural levels of alpha emitting radionuclides. Annexes B of UNSCEAR 2000 and UNSCEAR 2008 give, respectively, typical natural activity concentrations for air, foods, drinking waters and, soils and building materials. The detection limit of the test method depends on the amount of the sample material analysed (mass or volume) after concentration, chemical yield, thickness of measurement source and counting time. The quantity of the sample to be collected and analysed depends on the expected activity of the sample and the detection limit to achieve.

ČSN EN 14476 This document specifies a test method and the minimum requirements for virucidal activity of chemical disinfectant and antiseptic products that form a homogeneous physically stable preparation when diluted with hard water - or in the case of ready-to-use products, i.e. products that are not diluted when applied, - with water. Ready-to-use-products can only be tested at a concentration up to 80 % (97 %, with a modified method for special cases) as some dilution is always produced by adding the test organisms and interfering substance. This document is applicable to products that are used in the medical area in the fields of hygienic handrub, hygienic handwash, instrument disinfection by immersion, surface disinfection by wiping, spraying, flooding or other means and textile disinfection. This document is applicable to areas and situations where disinfection is medically indicated. Such indications occur in patient care, for example: - in hospitals, in community medical facilities, and in dental institutions; - in clinics of schools, of kindergartens, and of nursing homes; and can occur in the workplace and in the home. It can also include services such as laundries and kitchens supplying products directly for the patient. NOTE 1 - The method described is intended to determine the activity of commercial formulations or active substances under the conditions in which they are used. NOTE 2 - This method corresponds to a phase 2, step 1 test. NOTE 3 - EN 14885 specifies in detail the relationship of the various tests to one another and to "use recommendations".

ČSN EN 16616+A1 This document specifies a test method and the minimum requirements for the microbicidal activity of a specified disinfection process for the treatment of contaminated textile. This procedure is carried out by using a washing machine as specified in 5.3.2.18 and refers to the disinfection step without prewash. This procedure is not limited to certain types of textile. The suppliers' instructions are expected to be sufficient if they content the process parameters identified in the test (e.g. dosing disinfectant in whatever washing phase e.g. main wash, rinsing, disinfecting at 40 °C). This document applies to areas and situations where disinfection is medically indicated. Such indications occur in patient care, for example: - in hospitals, in community medical facilities, and in dental institutions; - in clinics of schools, of kindergartens, and of nursing homes; and could occur in the workplace and in the home. It could also include services such as laundries and kitchens supplying products directly for the patients. The method described is intended to determine the activity of a product or product combination under the conditions in which they are used. This is a phase 2, step 2 laboratory test that simulates the conditions of application of the product. EN 14885 specifies in detail the relationship of the various tests to one another and to "use recommendations".

ČSN EN ISO 19388 This document establishes requirements and recommendations for the operation of the anaerobic digestion of sludge in order to support safe and sufficient operation of anaerobic digestion facilities to produce to produce sufficient biogas and control by-products qualities. In particular, conditions to optimize mixing within the reactor and appropriate control systems management for safe and reliable operation are described in this document. Performance of the processes in terms of biogas and digestate production are presented depending on type of technologies available on the market. Blending sludge with waste (co-substrate) and mixing the sludge with organic wastes to increase digester loading are also considered. This document is applicable to decision-makers and operators in charge of an anaerobic digestion system.

ČSN EN ISO/IEEE 11073-10701 This standard specifies a set of Participant Key Purposes (PKPs) pertaining to metric data exchange for the Service-oriented Device Connectivity (SDC) series of standards. PKPs are role-based sets of requirements for products in order to support safe, effective, and secure interoperability in medical IT networks at point-of-care environments such as the intensive care unit (ICU), operating room (OR) or other acute care settings. This standard specifies both product development process and technical requirements.

ČSN EN ISO 15614-9 This document specifies how a preliminary welding procedure specification (pWPS) is qualified by welding procedure tests. This document is applicable to production welding and repair welding. This document is applicable to fusion welding of steels covered by groups 1, 2, 3 and 8 in accordance with ISO 15608 in a hyperbaric wet environment. This document is applicable to the following welding processes, in accordance with ISO 4063:2023, applicable in hyperbaric wet environments: -111 manual metal arc welding (metal arc welding with covered electrode); -114 self-shielded tubular-cored arc welding. The principles of this document can be applied to other steel groups and fusion welding processes not listed. This document specifies three weld quality levels, A, B, and Z in order to permit application to a wide range of weldments. Each weld quality level defines a set of criteria for weldment properties that are established during qualification. This document does not address the selection of the weld quality level to meet the requirements of a particular application.

ČSN EN 16128 This document specifies the reference method for the testing of spectacle frames, ready-to-wear near-vision spectacles, sunglasses and spectacle frames used for eye and face protection for nickel release. The reference method supports the demonstration of conformity with the limit value for nickel release of 0,5 µg˙cm-2˙week-1 set forth by European Regulation. The reference method involves the procedural steps shown in Figure 1 and described in Clause 4. This document applies to those parts of metal spectacle frames and those metal parts of combination spectacle frames that are intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin of the wearer. This document also applies to those relevant metal parts of ready-to-wear near-vision spectacles, sunglasses and spectacle frames used for eye and face protection. NOTE - The reference method for articles apart from spectacle frames, ready-to-wear near-vision spectacles, sunglasses and spectacle frames used for eye and face protection is specified in EN 1811.

ČSN P CEN/TS 17342 This document specifies requirements for the impact performance of systems designed for the reduction of impact severity for PTW riders impacting safety barriers whilst sliding along the ground, having fallen from their PTW vehicle. The protection systems concerned are those fitted to barriers or barriers that have an inherent PTW rider protection or risk reduction capability. This document excludes the assessment of the vehicle restraint capabilities of barriers and the risk that they represent to the occupants of impacting cars. The assessment of barrier performance with respect to impacting vehicles is covered by EN 1317 1 and EN 1317 2. This document defines performance classes taking into account rider speed classes, impact severity and the working width of the system with respect to rider impacts. For systems designed to be added to a standard barrier, the test results are valid only when the system is fitted to the model of barrier used in the tests since the performance will not necessarily be the same if the system is fitted to a different barrier.

ČSN EN 18029 This document specifies a common data exchange format (i.e. format of the messages and the dictionary of all the items that compose the message) between the prescribers and the laboratories in the animal health sector. This document is intended for prescribers (purchasers) and service providers in charge of collecting samples and conducting analyses (including laboratories) who are interested in computerizing and standardizing their data exchanges, particularly in the animal health sector. This document excludes the code lists that are required for unambiguous data exchange.
