    ČSN EN 12252+A1 This document specifies equipment and accessories for road tankers used for the transport of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and identifies the equipment that is considered necessary to ensure that filling, transportation and discharge operations can be carried out safely. It specifies the requirements for the assembly of the accessories and the vehicle LPG equipment to the road tanker. This document also identifies additional equipment and accessories that can be used on road tankers carrying LPG. This document does not preclude the use of alternative designs, materials and equipment testing which provide the same or a higher level of safety. ADR [9] requires that such alternative technical codes be recognized by the competent authority, provided that the minimum requirements of section 6.8.2 of ADR [9] are complied with. This document does not apply to "tank-containers" or "battery-vehicles" used for the transport of LPG. For design of road tankers, see EN 12493, and for the inspection and test requirements of road tankers, see EN 14334 [11].

    ČSN EN IEC 61643-11 ed. 3 These devices are intended to be connected to AC power circuits and equipment rated up to 1 000 V RMS, the preferred frequencies taken into account in this document are 50/60 Hz. Other frequencies are not excluded. Performance and safety requirements, tests and ratings are specified in this document. These devices contain at least one nonlinear component and are intended to limit surge voltages and divert surge currents. The test requirements provided by this document are based on the assumption that the SPD is connected to an AC power circuit fed by a power source providing a linear voltage-current characteristic. When the SPD is to be connected to a different kind of source or to a different frequency, careful consideration is required. This mainly applies with regard to system and fault conditions to be expected in such a system (e.g. expected short circuit current, TOV-stresses).

    ČSN EN 1555-3 This document specifies the characteristics of fusion fittings made from polyethylene (PE) as well as of mechanical fittings for piping systems in the field of the supply of gaseous fuels. NOTE 1 - Additional information related to the installation of PE 100-RC systems is given in EN 1555-1:2025, Annex A. NOTE 2 - Additional information about the suitability of PE pipe systems for hydrogen and its admixtures is given in EN 1555-1:2025, Annex B. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this document. In conjunction with EN 1555-1, EN 1555-2, EN 1555-4 and EN 1555-5, this document is applicable to PE pipes, fittings and valves, their joints, and joints with components of PE and other materials intended to be used under the following conditions: a) a maximum operating pressure, MOP, up to and including 10 bar1, at a design reference temperature of 20 °C; b) an operating temperature between -20 °C and 40 °C. For operating temperatures between 20 °C and 40 °C, derating coefficients are specified in EN 1555-5. The EN 1555 series covers a range of MOPs and gives requirements concerning colours. This document is applicable for fittings of the following types: a) electrofusion socket fittings; b) electrofusion saddle fittings; c) spigot end fittings (for butt fusion using heated tools and electrofusion); d) mechanical fittings. It is the responsibility of the purchaser or specifier to make the appropriate selections from these aspects, taking into account their particular requirements and any relevant national guidance or regulations and installation practices or codes. NOTE 3 - The fittings can be, for example, in the form of couplers, saddles, equal and reduced tees, reducers, elbows, bends or end caps.

This document can be used for pressure piping systems before applying operating pressure. This document is applicable to all solid and structured wall thermoplastics piping systems covered by an EN standard developed by CEN/TC 155. NOTE 1 - PE piping systems for gas infrastructure are covered in EN 12007-2 [1]. This document gives guidance for structural design by either validated field experience or calculation, and contents of EN 476 [2], EN 1295-1 [3] and EN 1610 [4] have been considered. At the design stage, precise details of types of soil and installation conditions are not always available. The choice of design assumptions is left to the judgement of the designer/specifier. In this respect, this technical specification provides general indications and advice. NOTE 2 - It is the responsibility of the designer/specifier to make the appropriate selection of the design aspects, taking into account any relevant National regulation and installation practices or codes.

For this purpose, it defines an overall model that contains: - subject kinds that allow to distinguish: - product subjects representing products in product catalogues; - catalogue subjects comprising meta data of product catalogues; - various kinds of blocks that collect properties of complex product features, including ports and in/outlets; - relationship types that allow to distinguish between different kinds of relationships like isSubtypeOf, hasPart, or hasBlock; - property kinds to distinguish between: - static properties describing products by providing property values in product catalogues; - dynamic properties that describe the behaviour of products; - external properties that represent external conditions that influence the behaviour of the product by influencing the values of dynamic properties. This document also describes a mapping of the overall model to the data dictionary model of ISO 12006-3 by introducing a dictionary meta level. Finally, to overcome deficiencies of the standards underlying ISO 16757-5 in capturing all aspects of product catalogues, this document provides some rules and recommendations for required data dictionary elements. This document does not describe how product catalogues have to be organized, and it does not describe any formats for the exchange of product catalogues. Product catalogues are described in ISO 16757-5.

This method is applicable to: - determine the size of microplastics [which range from 1 µm to 5 000 µm], count them and classify them by size range; - identify the chemical composition of microplastics, the main ones (most used in industry and most abundant in the environment) being: polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyamide (PA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and polyurethane (PU); This method is applicable to water with a low content of organic matter and other suspended matter as defined in ISO 6107 (1 mg/l to 100 mg/l or lower when interfering with the determination), i.e., - ultrapure water; - water intended for human consumption; - raw groundwaters. Given the very low concentrations of microplastics usually present in these waters, special attention needs to be paid to potential sources of contamination during sample preparation. This method is intended to determine and characterize large numbers of particles in the sample in automatic mode. This method can also identify the nature of the other particles that are outside the scope of this document, for example minerals, proteins, cellulose and pigments. This method does not apply to the characterization of substances intentionally added to or adsorbed on the surface of microplastics. This method does not apply to the determination of the geometric shape of microplastics.

    CSN EN 17199-5 This document describes the methodology for measuring and characterizing the dustiness of bulk materials that contain or release respirable NOAA or other respirable particles, under standard and reproducible conditions and specifies for that purpose the vortex shaker method. This document specifies the selection of instruments and devices and the procedures for calculating and presenting the results. It also gives guidelines on the evaluation and reporting of the data. The methodology described in this document enables: a) the measurement of the respirable dustiness mass fraction; b) the measurement of the number-based dustiness index of respirable particles in the particle size range from about 10 nm to about 1 µm; c) the measurement of the number-based emission rate of respirable particles in the particle size range from about 10 nm to about 1 µm; d) the measurement of the number-based particle size distribution of the released respirable aerosol in the particle size range from about 10 nm to 10 µm; e) the collection of released airborne particles in the respirable fraction for subsequent observations and analysis by electron microscopy. This document is applicable to the testing of a wide range of bulk materials including nanomaterials in powder form. NOTE 1 - With slightly different configurations of the method specified in this document, dustiness of a series of carbon nanotubes has been investigated ([5] to [10]). On the basis of this published work, the vortex shaker method is also applicable to nanofibres and nanoplates. This document is not applicable to millimetre-sized granules or pellets containing nano-objects in either unbound, bound uncoated and coated forms. NOTE 2 - The restrictions with regard to the application of the vortex shaker method on different kinds of nanomaterials result from the configuration of the vortex shaker apparatus as well as from the small size of the test sample required. Eventually, if future work will be able to provide accurate and repeatable data demonstrating that an extension of the method applicability is possible, the intention is to revise this document and to introduce further cases of method application. NOTE 3 - As observed in the pre-normative research project [4], the vortex shaker method specified in this document provides a more energetic aerosolization than the rotating drum, the continuous drop and the small rotating drum methods specified in EN 17199-2 [1], EN 17199-3 [2] and EN 17199-4 [3], respectively. The vortex shaker method can better simulate high energy dust dispersion operations or processes where vibration or shaking is applied or even describe a worst case scenario in a workplace, including the (non-recommended) practice of cleaning contaminated worker coveralls and dry work surfaces with compressed air. NOTE 4 - Currently no classification scheme in terms of dustiness indices or emission rates has been established according to the vortex shaker method. Eventually, when a large number of measurement data has been obtained, the intention is to revise the document and to introduce such a classification scheme, if applicable.
